Round 2 scores in Men’s College Basketball had 11th ranked Illinois getting UPSET by Purdue 68-61 as Terone Johnson lite ‘em up for 25 points, 16th ranked Creighton just escaped an upset themselves by defeating Illinois State 79-72 with 18 points from Ethan Wragge of the bench, Pennsylvania were torched by 17th ranked Butler 70-57 as Roosevelt Jones notched 24 points and CS Bakersfield were left stumped right,  foot stumped  on by 19th ranked San Diego State 72-57 with a double-double from Jamaal Franklin of 18 points and 12 boards.

Women’s College Basketball had six ranked games that played out last night as Texas Tech got the UPSET win against 13th ranked Oklahoma State 64-59, West Virginia lost to 17th ranked Oklahoma 71-68, 14th ranked Purdue eked out the one point 67-66 over Illinois, while the in-state rivalry Kansas State was knocked off by #21 Kansas 72-63, 2nd ranked Baylor totally embarrassed TCU 74-35 as Brittney Griner slammed one home and finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds and Wisconsin were hammered by 25th ranked Nebraska 70-52 as Lindsay Moore scored 26 points and made 5 3’s.
