The Great American Race #Daytona 500 was capped off with Jimmie Johnson winning his 2nd Daytona 500 since 2006 as he ran past Brad Keselowski on the final restart and for the last six laps, had a commanding lead that no one could challenge.  As for Danica Patrick who won the pole, became the first woman to lead laps in the race as she finished in the 8th spot, which was the highest finish for a woman…..good look Danica.  Rounding out the top five finishers was Dale Earnhardt, Jr in the 2nd, Mark Martin in 3rd, the aforementioned Keselowski was 4th and Ryan Newman was 5th.
