points as they put a 87-49 drubbing on Marquette, 4th ranked
Stanford earned their 15th consecutive victory over UCLA 68-57 as
Chiney Ogwumke was a dominating force with 26 points, 5th
ranked Duke cruised past Wake Forest 81-70 with a double-double from Haley Peters
of 13 points and 12 rebounds, 6th
ranked Cal got past USC 72-64 as Layshia Clarendon notched 22 points, while 7th
ranked Maryland toppled,
trounced, and tantalized, Alliteration, I Love It, Virginia 73-44
with Alyssa Thomas making the nets sing hallelujah with 27 points
and 13 boards, 10th ranked Louisville demolished DePaul 81-55 as Bria
Smith scored a career high of 21 points, 12th ranked Tennessee pummeled
Vanderbilt 83-64 with 17 points from Meighan Simmons and 13th ranked
Georgia got the win over Florida 62-57 as Jasmine Hassell posted 16 points and
along with the same amount of rebounds.
The New York Rangers skated past the Washington Capitals
The
National Hockey League was skating around last night with seven games as the
St. Louis Blues needed a shoot-out to hold off the Vancouver Canucks 4-3, the
Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Buffalo Sabres 4-3, the defending champs LA
Kings lost by a goal 3-2 against the Chicago Blackhawks, the Boston Bruins
edged the Winnipeg Jets 3-2, while the Calgary Flames knocked off the Dallas
Stars 4-3, the Detroit Red Wings lost to the Minnesota Wild 3-2 and the
Washington Capitals were handled by the New York Rangers 2-1.
