seeded Norte Dame pounded 16th seed UT Martin 97-64 with Jewel
Lloyd scoring 27 points, 2nd seed Duke annihilated 15th seed
Hampton 67-51 as Tricia Liston scored 20 points, while 2nd seed
Kentucky dominated 15th seed Navy 61-41 with 18 points
from DeNesha Stallworth, 3rd seed North Carolina was tested, but got
away with the 59-54 win over 14th seed Albany as Tierra Ruffin-Pratt
poured in 30 career high points and 3rd seed Penn State walloped 14th
seed Cal Poly 85-55 as Maggie Lucas drained 19 points.
The Islanders get the SHUT OUT
against the Panthers
The National Hockey League had seven
games on the ice on Sunday as the New York Islanders SHUT OUT the Florida Panthers 3-0,
the Washington Capitals defeated the New York Rangers 3-21 in a shoot-out, the
Philadelphia Flyers lost in overtime to the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1, the Tampa
Bay Lighting lost to the Winnipeg Jets 3-2, while the Vancouver Canucks
defeated the Colorado Avalanche 3-2, the St. Louis Blues fell short against the
Calgary Flames 3-2 and the Detroit Red Wings handled the Anaheim Ducks 2-1.
Bay Hill postponed
due to severe weather
Severe storms and tornado warnings in
Central Florida forced the Bay Hill Invitational halt play on Sunday and the
final round resumed at 10a EST this morning with just two holes played in the
3rd Round, Tiger Woods is up 3 shots at 12 under par and host of golfers
including Ricky Fowler, Ken Duke and others are chasing at 9 under par.
