Men’s College Basketball had a few games as the Big Dance Tourney was off last night and in NIT quarterfinal, top seeded Alabama was knocked off by one measly point by 2nd seed Maryland as Alex Len notched 15 points and 13 rebounds and in the CIT quarterfinals, Loyola (Maryland) was mowed down by East Carolina 70-58 as Maurice Kemp notched 20 points, Evansville got the one point win over Canisius 84-83 as Colt Ryan played like one as he made the nets sing hallelujah with 39 points and Bradley was outmuscled by Northern Iowa 90-77 with 21 points from Anthony James.

The National Hockey League was skating on thin ice last night with nine games starting with the Florida Panthers losing to the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2, the Montreal Canadians were SHUT OUT by the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0, the New York Islanders defeated the Washington Capitals 3-2, the Winnipeg Jets trounced the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1, the New York Rangers flew past the Philadelphia Flyers 5-2, while the Buffalo Sabres lost 2-1 to the Tampa Bay Lighting, the Edmonton Oilers SHUT OUT the St. Louis Blues 3-0, the Calgary Flames were SHUT OUT by the Chicago Blackhawks 2-0 and the Columbus Blue Jackets SHUT OUT the Vancouver Canucks in a shoot-out 1-0.
