Matt Kenseth wins at
Kansas Speedway
Kansas Speedway has been kind to Matt Kenseth as he won his 2nd straight race at the track as he blocked Kasey Kahne’s every move to capture the checkered flag, while the aforementioned Kahne was 2nd, Jimmie Johnson placed 3rd, Martin Truex, Jr notched 4th and Clint Bowyer round out the top five finishers.  With Kenseth 1st place finish, he is now 2nd in the Sprint Cup Standings 37 points behind Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski, Greg Biffle and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. round out the top five leaders in points.

           
Graeme McDowell wins his 2nd
tourney at RBC Heritage
The RBC Heritage Golf Tournament at Hilton Head, SC witnessed a 2nd straight tourney to finish in a playoff as Greame McDowel rallied from four strokes back at the beginning of final day of play and eventually forced a playoff to win his 2nd PGA Tour victory.

For your 2nd Segment Quick News & Notes, All-Star forward David Lee of the Golden State Warriors is out for the season after tearing his right hip flexor during Golden State's 97-95 loss to Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of their opening playoff series, Takuma Sato became the first Japanese driver to win an IndyCar race, taking the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in just his third race with his new team, A. J. Foyt, Matt Hagan ended a 17-month winless drought by racing to the Funny Car victory lane Sunday at the Dollar General NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway, and finally, the Cleveland Cavaliers, who fired coach Byron Scott last Thursday, have been in touch with 11 time NBA coaching champion Phil Jackson to gauge his interest in returning to coaching and in their open position.
