Let the Fiesta begin as the Ducks clobbered the Wildcats
The College Football Bowl Season is getting down to the nitty, grittyas the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl had the 4th
ranked Oregon Ducks getting down and dirty with the 5th
ranked Kansas State Wildcats and the Ducks wasted no time to quack their stuff
as De’Anthony Thomas had a 94 yard kickoff return to open the game and he
scored again toward the end of the 1st quarter. Early and mid-way through the 2nd quarter,
Kansas State joined the TD party, but Oregon scored right before half-time to
take a 22-10 lead into the locker room.
In the 2nd half, it was pretty much all Oregon as they scored
one TD and 2 field goals to Kansas State’s one TD as the Ducks made the
Wildcats wobble,
wobblewith a score of 35-17 as
Marcus Mariota had 2 touchdown passes and Kenjon Barner kept the running game
in check with 143 ground pounding yards.

was Thursday night and it wasn’t ladies night, but it was the NBA on TNTas they had two games that were featured starting
with the 2nd ranked team in the Western Conference in the San Antonio
Spurs pitted against 2nd ranked team in the Eastern Conference in
the New York Knicks and the Knicks ran the Spurs out of the gym100-83 and snapped their 7 game win streak with
23 points from Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler chipped in 10 and rebounds
and in the second game, the Minnesota Timberwolves did battle with the Denver Nuggets
and the Timberwolves came away victorious with the 101-97 win 12 points and 17
Big Time rebounds from Kevin Love, who left the game due to a sprained finger
and J. J. Barea was in beast modewith
17 points off the bench.
