Smith came out running and gunning connecting on 6 3’s and finished with a game high of 36 points however comma Kevin Durant said not so fast my friend and poured in 34 points himself as the Thunder edged the Knicks by one measly point 95-94 and the 2nd game highlighted the Lob City Clippers battling the Denver Nuggets as the Nuggets were in search of their 7th straight win and Ty Lawson made sure they got it with his 21 points and 11 assists as the Nuggets chastised the Clippers 107-92.

            Men’s College Basketball only had two games on the slate as 22nd ranked Wisconsin was manhandled by 10th ranked Michigan State 58-43 with 19 points from Keith Appling as the Spartans keep hope alive in the Big Ten race and 19th ranked Oregon was not only UPSET but they were blasted, befuddled and bamboozled, Alliteration, I Love It, by Colorado 76-53 as Xavier Johnson had an exclamation point on the game with 22 points.

            Women’s College Basketball had three ranked games on the hard-court last night as Loyola Illinois was baptized by 20th ranked Green Bay 63-37 ouch, as they win their 20th consecutive game, Auburn was defeated by 22nd ranked LSU 65-62 as Theresa Plaisance notched a sweet double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds and Alabama was literally spanked by 17th ranked South Carolina 77-35, ouch again as Elem Ibiam notched 19 points off the bench.
