NCAAM Final Four, NCAAW Elite 8 & NBA Scores & Quick News & Notes Feat. Kevin Ware: 4/1 - 1st Edition - Vol. 339

God sent his son and they called him Jesus; He came to love, to heal and forgive.  He lived and died to buy my pardon and an empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!!  Good morning and welcome to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio…better than when you heard it, the last time you heard it!  I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y…..It’s Game Time!

As Louisville celebrated
their Final Four selection,
they honored their
fallen teammate
The Elite Eight was not so great for a few top teams left in March Madness in Men’s College Basketball as 3rd seeded Florida was hammered and chomped on by 4th seeded Michigan as Nick Stauskas drained 6 three pointers as he racked up 22 points as the Wolverines advanced to the Final Four for the first time since 1993 and my pick to win it all was pummeled, pulverized and pasted, Alliteration, I Love It, as 2nd seeded Duke was sent packing by top seeded Louisville 85-63 as Russ Smith poured it on for 23 points as they join Syracuse and Wichita State in the Final Four.

The Lady Cardinals move on they pull
the UPSET over Baylor
The Ladies wrapped up the teams headed to the Elite Eight as top seeded Norte Dame blasted 12th seeded Kansas 93-63 as Skylar Diggins’ 27 points propels her to set the school record in points, unlike their brethren, the 2nd seeded Lady Blue Devils of Duke are moving on as they got past 6th seed Nebraska 53-45 Tricia Liston led all scorers with 17 points, 2nd seed Tennessee dominated 6th seeded Oklahoma 74-59 as Kimiko Williams notched 15 points and the number one overall seed and defending national champions in Baylor was UPSET by 5th seeded Louisville 82-81as Shoni Schimmel scored 22 points before fouling out.

Chris Bosh took over
to get the win as LeBron
and Wade sat out
The National Basketball Association had five games on the hard-court as the Miami Heat pulled a Popavich and sat LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Mario Chalmers as they faced off against the San Antonio Spurs in their 1st leg of their Texas Two Step but with Chris Bosh’s 25 foot three pointer, the Heat outlasted the Spurs 88-86, the Toronto Raptors were outmuscled by the Washington Wizards 109-92 with 24 magical points from Bradley Beal, the New Orleans Hornets decimated the Cleveland Cavaliers 112-92 as Revis Vasquez poured in 25 points, while the Chicago Bulls was defeated the Detroit Pistons 95-94 as Loul Deng dialed up 28 points and the New York Knicks manhandled the Boston Celtics 108-89 as Carmelo Anthony put up 24 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

As Kevin Ware lay on the court in pain
after breaking his leg, he tells his
teammate "Win the game!"
