The NBA Playoffs kicked off over the weekend as I re-cap the four games on Sunday as Paul George of the Indiana Pacers was en fuego as his notched his 1st career playoff triple-double with 23 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists as the Pacers take down the Atlanta Hawks in Game 1 107-90, the San Antonio Spurs got 18 points in 19 minutes from Manu Ginobili as the Spurs took advantage of m LA Lakers 18 turnovers 91-79 in Game 1 of their series, in Game 1 of the top seed in the playoffs the defending champions Miami Heat and the 8th seed in the East in the Milwaukee Bucks, LeBron James Showed Up and he Showed Out with 27 points and 10 rebounds as the Heat pasteurized the Bucks 110-87 and in the Western Conference #1 seed OKC Thunder received 10 assists from Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant poured in 24 points as the Thunder put the smack down on the 8th seed Houston Rockets 120-91.

For your NFL Quick Hits, the New York Jets have traded star cornerback Darrelle Revis to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 13th overall pick in Thursday night's draft and a conditional selection next year and Revis agreed to a new six-year contract, worth $96 million, making him the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history, but includes no guaranteed money, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Rolando McClain was arrested Sunday in Decatur, AL and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and was released after posting $1,000 bond, Atlanta Falcons safety William Moore has been released from jail on a $2,500 bond following his arrest on a misdemeanor simple battery charge, and finally, NBC Sports announcer and play-by-play man for "Sunday Night Football” Al Michaels was arrested over the weekend in Southern California on suspicion of drunken driving and he registered a blood-alcohol level over the .08 percent legal limit; he was held for about five hours before being released on his own recognizance.

Kansas Speedway has been kind to Matt Kenseth as he won his 2nd straight race at the track as he blocked Kasey Kahne’s every move to capture the checkered flag, while the aforementioned Kahne was 2nd, Jimmie Johnson placed 3rd, Martin Truex, Jr notched 4th and Clint Bowyer round out the top five finishers.  With Kenseth 1st place finish, he is now 2nd in the Sprint Cup Standings 37 points behind Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski, Greg Biffle and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. round out the top five leaders in points.

The RBC Heritage Golf Tournament at Hilton Head, SC witnessed a 2nd straight tourney to finish in a playoff as Greame McDowel rallied from four strokes back at the beginning of final day of play and eventually forced a playoff to win his 2nd PGA Tour victory.
