2014 NBA Finals Game 4, US Open, FIFA World Cup & Quick News & Notes & A Princess is Born: 6/13, 1st Edition

I lift my hands in total adoration unto You, You reign upon the throne, for You are God and God alone.  Because of You my cloudy days are gone and I can sing to You this song…..I just want to say that I love You more than anything.

Good morning and welcome to your freshhhhh version of your Spiritual Sports Segment on C.E.E.J.A.Y. Sports by way of Rhema Gospel Radio…better than when you heard it, the last time you heard it!  I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y…..Come Roll Wit’ Me!!

It was a Trifecta Threat in the world of sports as The U. S. Open Championship teed off, the 2014 FIFA World Cup kicked off and of course Game 4 of the NBA Finals tipped off and if that wasn’t enough a Princess was given to this world however comma I digress and will hit on that later.

Kawhi Leonard was a dominant
force in Game 4 that couldn't
be contained.
As I mentioned Game 4 of the NBA Finals was on tap last night as the Miami Heat looked to even the series once again on their home floor against the San Antonio Spurs and the 1st half was like a replay of the 1st half in Game 3 as the Spurs came out running and gunning as the Spurs lead by 19 at the half and the 3rd quarter was more of the same even as LeBron James scored 19 points in the 3rd alone. The Heat actually outscored the Spurs in the 4th, but it was clearly not enough as Kawhi Leonard put up a double-double with 20 points, 14 boards and chipped in 3 assists, 3 blocks and 3 steals as the Spurs pounded, pulverized and pasted, Alliteration, I Love It, the Heat 107-86 as the potential game closing Game 6 comes back to the Great State of Texas.

Martin Kaymer looks to capitalize
on his 3 under par from
the opening day of US Open Championship
The opening round of The U. S. Open Championship in Pinehurst, NC turned out not to be the mammoth that everyone thought as Martin Kaymer, who….yeah, you heard me, Martin Kaymer had 6 birdies, three on the final five holes to shoot a 65 and 3 under par to sit atop the leaderboard, while Kevin Na, Graeme McDowell, Brendon de Jonge and Fran Quin all finished 2 under par tied for second and a plethora of golfers tied for third.

Neymar was sensational as Brazil
defeated Croatia in the opening FIFA
World Cup game
The 2014 FIFA World Cup kicked off in Brazil as Crotia took on the host country, it was surrounded with controversy in the 2nd half as Japanese ref Yuichi Nishimura awarded Brazil a penalty kick in the 71st minute as he fell for a blatant, in the penalty box dive that would eventually give the host nation a 2-1 lead and Brazil scored another goal for a 3-1 opening win over Croatia as Croatia’s manager called the penalty ridiculous.

For your Quick News & Notes, San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Colin Kaepernick and two other NFL players will not faces charges in an incident involving a woman at a downtown hotel, prosecutors announced Thursday and Julius Randle's foot has some NBA teams concerned as the 6-foot-9 Kentucky forward's broken right foot hasn't healed correctly and sources confirmed a Yahoo! Sports report that Randle may need surgery after the June 26 NBA draft that will keep him out of summer league.

Kawhi Leonard was no match
in Game 2 for LeBron James
After an elongated hiatus, I am back with a Special NBA Finals Spiritual Sport Segment and Game 2 of the NBA Finals tipped off last night after the first game witnessed the Heat not being able to stand how hot it was in the kitchen after King James was carried off the Royal Court after cramping up as the San Antonio Spurs captured Game 1.   But King James ruled the court at the AT&T Center in San Antonio on Sunday night as James bounced back with a game high of 35 points and 10 boards and made sure the Heat went to Miami with the series tied 1-1 with a 98-96 win.

Dale Jr wins at Pocono for
the first time
Round and round they go as NASCAR raced on in Long Pond, PA at Pocono Raceway as Dale Earnhardt, Jr. pulled away in the final stretch from Brad Keselowski to capture Pocono for the first time and to cap two wins in for the first time one NASCAR season.  The aforementioned Keselowski rolled in 2nd place, Kurt Busch took 3rd, while Denny Hamlin placed 4th and Kyle Larson round out the top five finishers.

The caption says it all.....
