Bradley Beal schooled the Nets with 32 points
Ohhh the hard court was bumping last night in the
Wednesday Night Takeover in the NBA as 24 teams battled until the clock struck
00:00 as I kick off your scores starting with the San Antonio Spurs holding off
the Philadelphia 76er’s 111 – 103 as Kwahi Leonard posted 32 points, the
Cleveland Cavaliers whipped, walloped and wacked Alliteration, I Love It, the
Indiana Pacers to end their 7 game win streak 132 – 117 as Kyle Korver notched
29 points off the bench, the Washington Wizards was coming off an OT loss
against the aforementioned Cavs barley got past the Brooklyn Nets 114 – 110
with 32 big ones from Bradley Beal, the Denver Nuggets had their gold stolen by
the Atlanta Hawks 117 – 106 as Dennis Schroder put up a double-double with 24
points and 10 dimes. My LA Lakers and their younger lineup was run over by the
Detroit Pistons 121 – 102 with a monster game from Andre Drummond with a major
double-double of 24 points and 17 boards. Ike and Tina said big wheels keep on
turning and the Miami Heat keep on winning with their 12th
consecutive game as they dominated, decimated and devastated, Alliteration, I
Love It, the Milwaukee Bucks 106 – 88 as Hassan Whiteside put up a double-double
of 23 points and 16 rebounds, meanwhile the Memphis Grizzlies bear-hugged the
Phoenix Suns 110 – 91 as Mike Conley knocked in 23 points, the Utah Jazz
manhandled and threw shade at the New Orleans Pelicans 127 – 94 with old man
Joe Johnson swishing in 27 points and the Toronto Raptors keep losing ground in
the East as they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 112 – 109 as Karl
Anthony-Towns was domineering with a double-double of 24 points and 14
rebounds. ESPN’s first featured game of the night
Charles kicked out & locked up! (Bonded out)
witnessed not only the New
York Knicks getting knocked off by the
LA Clippers 119 – 115 with a big time double-double from DeAndre Jordan of 28
points and 15 boards, but Madison Square Garden also witnessed a Knick legend Charles
Oakley, getting arrested and locked up after a skirmish in the stands that
resulted in him being charged with three misdemeanor counts of assault and one
count of criminal trespass, a 3rd degree misdemeanor and Oakley
maintains he did nothing wrong and was provoked hmmmmm nonetheless comma I
digress as ESPN’s second featured game of the night had the Golden State
Warriors literally spanking the Chicago Bulls 123 – 92 as Kevin Durant almost
notched a triple-double of 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and finally, no
Kevin Durant running past the Bulls
DeMarcus Cousins, no problem as the Sacramento Kings crowned the Boston Celtics
108 – 92 with 26 points from Darren Collison.

The first day of the month of February blasted off
with 12 games on Wednesday Night Take Over in the The Association and it was
jammed packed with excitement and a bunch of scoringas four teams scored at least 120 points as
I tip off your scores and highlights as my home-city Orlando Magic battled the
Indiana Pacers but came up short 98 - 88 with Glenn Robinson III leading the
Pacers with 14 points and 7 boards. ESPN’s first featured game of the night
witnessed King James (but we know who the REAL King is) however comma I digress
and his Cleveland Cavaliers demolished, decimated and dismantled Alliteration I
Love It the Minnesota Timberwolves 125 – 97 as LeBron James put up a double
double of 27 points and 12 dimes, the Toronto Raptors lost a close one to the
Isaiah Thomas reacting to his 44 points... yeah, I did that.
Boston Celtics 109 – 104 as Isaiah Thomas continues his dominance as he was on
fiya with 44 points and as Mark Jackson would say, “Mama there goes that man”
as those two team were jockeying for the 2nd seed position in the
East. It was the Showdown of the New York Teams as the Knicks notched the 95 - 90
win over the Nets with a double double from Willy Hernangomez, who Willy…who
Willy with 16 points and 16 rebounds, the Miami Heat were gunning for their 9th
consecutive win against the Atlanta Hawks and They. Did. That with a 116 – 93 drubbing
of the Hawks as Goran Dragic netted 27 points, the New Orleans Pelicans were
dropped by the Detroit Pistons 118 – 98 as Kentavious Caldwell Pope lite them
up with 38 points, the Philadelphia 76er’s were stopped by the Dallas Mavericks
as they cruised to a 113 – 95 win as the older Curry in Seth scored 22 points.
Meanwhile, after a controversial 0.7 outcome in the last meeting giving the
Memphis Grizzlies the win, the Denver Nuggets did their best to revenge that win
but was stomped upon 119 – 99 with 24 points from Marc Gasol, the Milwaukee
Bucks was rocked and rumbled by the Utah Jazz 104 – 88 as Rudy Gobert notched a
double-double with 26 points and 15 boards, the LA Clippers put out the Phoenix
Suns fire 124 – 114 as Blake Griffin poured in 29 points, now onto ESPN’s 2nd
featured game of the night as the Bickering Bulls of Chicago, faced off against
Mr. Triple Double in Russell Westbrook as his OKC Thunder was literally spanked
128 – 100 as Jimmy Butler put up 28 points and finally, the Charlotte Hornets
traveled to the Golden State Warriors and Warriors stole the Hornets Honey 126 –
111 as Steph Curry buzzed his way to 39 points.
Curry's 11 3's sealed the deal!
