This is a bonus, special edition of CeeJay Sports as there was only one game on tap last night as the MEAC showcased the Eagles of North Carolina Central pitted against the Rattlers of Florida A&M on the highest of seven hills in Tallahassee, FL at Bragg Memorial Stadium as both teams entered the contest undefeated in the MEAC, but of course, wouldn’t leave the same way!

North Carolina Central was looking to keep their conference winning streak alive as they have not lost a conference game since 2015 and they came out the gates full steam ahead and took a commanding 14 – 0 lead after the 1st quarter as one of the touchdowns came off a of pick six of FAMU’s quarterback Ryan Stanley. But the Rattlers regained composure and knotted the game 14 apiece prior to halftime in part to a 1 yard TD run by Devin Bowers. Both teams couldn’t muster much offense in the 3rd quarter and would enter the 4th the same way they entered the 3rd. But with 2:02 left in the game, red shirt freshman Isiah Totten scored on the eventual game sealer as Central remains undefeated in the MEAC by outlasting FAMU 21 – 14.

This sports segment is dedicated to our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico as they are in dire need of everything after Hurricane Maria ravished the land and my prayer is that God shift things in their favor and provide them with everything they stand in need of.
