NBA Takeover Playoff Edition, Strategy Behind The Stride & Happy Birthday! May 1, 2017: Vol. II, 6th Edition

The Terrific Trifecta Teaching, Alliteration, I Love It of Pastor Johnson, Rev. Mitchell & Rev. Barnett at the Great Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, 3826 Wheeler Ave, Houston, TX 77004, where Marcus D. Cosby, is my pastor, taught us that there is Strategy Behind the Stride as we:

           Recognize Relevant Resources
•           Remember the Runner’s Responsibility
•           Understand the Realities of the Race
•           And most importantly, Refocus on the Redeemer

IT4 scorched the Wizards with
33 points
Gordon Hayward rises up to closeout
the Clips!
While one game kicked off the Eastern Conference Semi’s on the East Coast, another had a game 7 close out and a legend’s run come to an end from the Western Conference First Round but I digress as I recap the Boston Celtics demolishing the Washington Wizards 123 – 111 as ITT4 aka Isaiah ‘Toothless’ Thomas lost his front tooth en route to a net scorching 33 points and Al Horford Showed Up & Showed Out with his near triple-double of 21 points, 10 dimes and 9 boards as the C’s take Game 1. On the West Coast, the Utah Jazz showed they belonged as they pasted the Los Angeles Clippers 104 – 91 and won their first playoff series since 2010 as Gordon Hayward had a game high of 26 points as they sent the Clippers out of the first round for the second consecutive year. Now onto the next as the Jazz will face off against the Golden State Warriors tomorrow night and the Clips have some major decisions to make as Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and J.J. Reddick all face some sort of free agency this summer.

Simply put....The Truth
But with that said, one player in particular will not be back as Paul ‘The Truth’ Pierce ended his 19 year NBA run as a Finals MVP Champion and all time Celtics legend…thank you Truth for the great memories.
