LeBron said not my house...OR your house!! |
Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals played out
last night in Boston as the Celtics looked to even the series against the
Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cavs started where they left off from Game 1 as
they sprinted out to 32 - 18 lead, which was aided by the Celtics anemic
shooting percentage of 28% from the field and 6% less than that from the
arc. And if matters couldn’t get any
worse, the Celtics lost their star point and leading scorer in Isaiah Thomas,
who only scored 2 points in the first half due to a previous hip injury and did
not return in the second half and his status for Game 3 is uncertain. Welp, the
Cavs went on to record an NBA playoff record of 41 points in a half, most
points scored by the franchise and tied a NBA record with 13 consecutive
playoff victories as the Cavs stymied, stifled and steamrolled, Alliteration, I
Love It, the Celtics 130 – 86! Ohhhweee! LeBron James clocked in for 33 minutes
of work and notched 30 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks...not bad for
less than three quarters of work and Kevin Love continues his love fest as he
posted a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds.

For your Quick News & Notes, San Antonio Spurs
star Kahwi Leonard, who didn't participate in Game 2 of the Western Conference

close to signing a deal to become an assistant head coach with the team.
Russell Westbrook of the Thunder, Kahwi Leonard of the Spurs and James Harden

Embiid, Dario Saric and Malcolm Brogdon each are looking to take home the
hardware. Defensive Player of the Year nominees include the Warriors Draymond
Green, the Spurs Kahwi Leonard and the Jazz's Rudy Gobert and finally, Coach on
