On
a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame. And
I love that old cross where the dearest and best, for a world of lost sinners
was slain. Happy Good Friday!

Tobias Harris posted playoff career highs |
The
NBA was rocking last night with three different game three’s as teams look to
establish their position in the series as the Philadelphia 76er’s were without
their star center in Joel Embiid with Uncle Tendinitis in his knee as they
faced off against the Brooklyn Nets. No Emiid??? No problem!! They had Tobias
Harris, Ben Simmons and J.J. Reddick as each scored 26 points or more and
Harris had a career postseason high with 26 points and 16 BIG BOY rebounds as
they clobbered the Nets 131 – 115 to take a 2 – 1 series lead.

Derrick White also posted playoff career highs |
The
second game on the hard court, we travel to the state I’m in, DON’T MESS WITH
TEXAS as the San Antonio Spurs were looking to break the tie and go up 2 – 1 in
the series against the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets put up a good fight and kept
the game interesting, but obviously they did not know what to do with the Spurs
second year guard in Derrick White as he wanted all the smoke because he was on
fiya with a career postseason high of 36 points and DeMar Derozan chipped in 25
as the Spurs were successful in finding what they were looking for, the 2 – 1
series lead.

I'm Kevin Durant...ya'll know who I am!!! |
And
finally, the last game on tap, the Golden State Warriors were looking to bounce
back from their shocking loss to the LA Clippers and right the ship to go 2 – 1
in the series. But in order to do so, Kevin Durant needed to get the pesky
Patrick Beverly off his hip. The Warriors came out running and gunning by
scorching the Clippers with 41 points in the first period while shooting 73% as
Kevin Durant (audio inserted) hit his first five shots and Kevin Durant (audio inserted) had no problems with the
pest and lit the Clippers up with 38 points and 7 assists as the Warriors pummeled,
pulverized and punished, Alliteration, I Love It, the Clippers 132 – 105 to
right the ship and claim the 2 – 1 series lead.

I think Ben has been found... |
For
your Quick NBA News & Notes, Tim Hardaway, Jr. of the Dallas Mavericks
underwent surgery for a stress fracture in his lower left leg and should be
ready for the start of training camp and Kyle Anderson of the Memphis Grizzlies
underwent surgery on his right shoulder. And lastly, someone placed a missing
poster in Brooklyn for Ben Simmons of the 76er’s due to the fact that he
doesn’t take jumpers or can’t take a jumper. Well anyway, he showed the Philly
fans that he doesn’t need a jump shot to score a playoff career high of 31
points.
