Uncle Drew made his presence felt!! |
The
NBA Playoffs were back in full effect last night as all three teams were on the
prowl in search of the commanding 2 – 0 series lead as the Boston Celtics and
the Indiana Pacers each scored more points than in Game 1. Both teams played
much better than the first game as the Celtics led at half-time by 2. But they
came out flat in the 3rd period and the Pacers went up by 11 at end
of that frame, but Uncle Drew aka Kyrie Irving scored 8 straight points as the
C’s went on a 16 – 0 run to close out the game 99 – 91 as the aforementioned
Irving laced them up with 37 points and Jason Tatum chipped in 26 and the
Celtics go up 2 – 0 in the series.

Giannis doing Giannis stuff |
The
second game of the night featured the Milwaukee Bucks pitted against the
Detroit Pistons as the Pistons, for the most part, actually made the game a
little more competitive than the first as they are still without their leading
scorer in Blake Griffin. But the third period proved too much for the Pistons
as Giannis Antetokoumpo, Kris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe put up 26, 24 and 27
respectively as the Bucks go up 2 – 0 in the series as they just drained the
fluid out of the Pistons 120 – 99.

James Harden was magical with the triple double |
The
last game of the night takes us to H-Town as the Utah Jazz looked to put up a
fight against the Houston Rockets and avoid going down 0 – 2 in the series, but
since the Jazz only shot 39% from the field and 21% from deep, that wouldn’t
help their cause as the Rockets smothered, smoked and smashed, Alliteration, I
Love It, the Jazz 118 – 98 as MVP candidate James Harden notched a
triple-double in only 33 minutes of play with 33 points, 13 boards and 10
assists as the Rockets now head to Utah with a 2 – 0 series lead.
